Does it follow the Extended Producer Responsibility Act?
Did you know that obliged large enterprises are required to recover up to 80% of their plastic packaging waste? They are also directed to be responsible for the proper and effective recovery, treatment, recycling, and/or disposal of their products after they have been sold and used by consumers.

This is mandated under Republic Act (RA) No. 11898 or the “Extended Producer Responsibility Act of 2022” to reduce the volume of plastic waste generation and extend the life of plastics by adding value or purpose through upcycling or recycling.

With this in force, manufacturers are expected to produce responsibly and consumers to purchase conscientiously.
