This was disclosed by Jennifer Hora of the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) during the Iligan City Nutrition Committee (CNC) meeting Thursday, June 24.
The milk feeding program aims to rehabilitate underweight and severely underweight children ages 3-4 years old enrolled in Child Development Centers and Supervised Neighborhood Plays.
Under the program, each child is given three liters of fresh milk per week to combat malnutrition.

[We started the milk feeding last May 5 and we will end tomorrow, June 25, because the implementation of the program is only eight weeks.]
