Gov. Dolor inaugurates 19.5M infra projects in Victoria
CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro, June 28 (PIA) – Gov. Humerlito A. Dolor on Friday inaugurated infrastructure projects amounting to a total of P19,529,558.79 in the town of Victoria, funded by the provincial government of Oriental Mindoro.
The infra projects are mostly composed of concreting of roads and one construction of Day Care Center in a barangay as follows: concreting of roads gap at Brgy Loyal, costing P1,467,370.75; concreting of road section at Brgy. Sampaguita going to Brgy. Loyal, P1,956,068.59; construction of Day Care Center at Brgy. Sampaguita, P1,400,000; concreting of road gap at Brgy. San Gabriel going to Brgy. Bagong Silang boundary section, P7,948,916.83; concreting of road gap at Brgy. Ordovilla going to Brgy. San Gabriel boundary section, P4,800,033.86; and concreting of road at Brgy. Urdaneta with P1,957,168.76.
Gov. Dolor said that infrastructure projects, such as concreting of roads is essential for faster economic growth and alleviation of poverty in the community, thus benefiting farmers as they can sell their products in town where they can get remunerative prices.
In his message to Barangay Chairmen, Gov. Dolor said the aid of the provincial government will continue. For this year, he said there are still remaining projects to be implemented in the five barangays as well as in other barangays of the municipality. (LTC/PIA-OrMin)
