CLARK FREEPORT ZONE (PIA) -- Clark Museum received Travelers’ Choice Award for the year 2020 by Tripadvisor for consistently earning great traveler reviews.
CDC President and CEO Manuel Gaerlan said the museum is the lone attraction in the Freeport conferred with the said award.
“Clark Museum received an overall rating of four out of five from Tripadvisor’s official website, and 48 great reviews from guests. Visiting the museum also ranked third on the list of 16 things to do in Clark Freeport Zone,” Gaerlan said.
The CDC official added that despite the restrictions brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, the museum generated a total of 9,699 visitors for the year 2020.
Currently, it is one of the 12 attraction sites inside the Freeport. It features four galleries which house a collection of artifacts, true-to-life replicas, scenic dioramas, old photographs, murals, and interactive displays, among others.
It also has a state-of-the-art 4D theatre which offers an exhilarating, one-of-a-kind experience for guests to enjoy.
The Travelers’ Choice, formerly known as “Certificate of Excellence”, is awarded to businesses which maintain an overall Tripadvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five; have received a minimum number of reviews in the 12-month period that the data was analyzed; and has been listed on Tripadvisor for at least one year.
About 10 percent of businesses listed on Tripadvisor received the award including six accommodation facilities inside the Freeport. (CLJD/MJSC-PIA 3)
