Pangasinan PPO receives supplies, equipment for 'BARANGAYanihan' project

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, June 30 (PIA) – The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPO) through its “BARANGAYanihan” (Bayanihan sa Barangay) project has received some supplies and equipment donated by the Provincial Government of Pangasinan on Wednesday during the ceremonial turnover held at the Capitol Plaza in this town.

Police General Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar of the Philippine National Police (PNP) received the supplies and equipment from Pangasinan Governor Amado Espino III during his visit in Pangasinan on June 30.

The provincial government said the turnover of supplies and equipment is in support of the various advocacy of PNP in their continuous response to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

The items turned over, which include 10 units of water pumps, 20 units of android phones, 20 units of 60-watt solar lights, 50 sacks of rice, 20 boxes of noodles, 50 boxes of canned goods, 500 pcs of face masks and 500pcs of face shields, will be distributed to indigent families, displaced workers, senior citizens, and farmers from towns of Aguilar, Basista, Binmaley, Bautista and Bugallon.
