QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- Muntinlupa City Mayor Jaime Fresnedi recognized two outstanding students from Muntinlupa Science High School during their courtesy visit last July 2.

Fresnedi congratulated Michaella Jade Lanoria, Grade 7 student, who was the first champion in the National Quizalize Bee and James Rommel Guevara, Grade 9 student, recipient of Asia Kakehashi Project Scholarship 2021 who will serve as an exchange student to Japan for 7 months.

The local exec hoped that the students will be role models for other Muntinlupa students to strive for academic excellence and bring pride to the city.

Muntinlupa City offers a comprehensive scholarship program for its residents from elementary to college, including those enrolled in technical-vocational, graduate, law, and medical schools.

At present, the Muntinlups Scholarship Program caters to 72,000 scholars. (PIO/PIA-NCR)
