PASIG CITY, (PIA) -- The 30 barangays of Pasig City are now Safety Seal certified against COVID-19.
According to the Department of the Interior and Local Government National Capital Region (DILG-NCR), Pasig City’s Inspection and Certification Committee has conducted the inspection and certification from June 18-25, 2021 and found all barangays are compliant with the minimum health standards.
The Safety Seal Certification is a voluntary certification scheme that affirms that an establishment is compliant with the minimum public health standards set by the government and uses or integrates its contact tracing with staysafe.ph.
Under the Joint Memorandum Circular No. 21-01, s. 2021 signed by the Department of Employment (DOLE), Department of Health (DOH), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Tourism (DOT), and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and the DILG Memorandum No. 2021-053, as adopted by the City Government of Pasig through EO No. PCG-44, s. 2021, a Safety Seal Certification Program will be implemented in local government units to ensure that establishments are observing minimum public health standards set by the government to curb the spread of COVID-19.
