CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) -- Gov. Humerlito A. Dolor led the recent inauguration of various infrastructure projects, specifically road concreting in different barangays in the town of Bongabong.

First among the projects was the P46 million road concreting project and the P500K drainage canal in Brgy. Sta. Cruz where the governor personally led the inauguration, along with Rev. Fr. Ramon Falcunitin, who led the blessing of said projects.

After the first event, the governor immediately proceeded to Sitio Quinaban, Brgy. San Jose to inaugurate also the newly-concreted road amounting to P5 million.

After Brgy. San Jose, the group of the local chief executive proceeded to Brgy. Hagupit to inaugurate the P1 million road concreting project as well as to lead the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of a multi-purpose covered court in the barangay.

The governor said upon completion of the project, it would help much in the barangay for their activities like meetings or assemblies as well as for other school activities.

Meanwhile, in Brgy. Ipil, a P1 million road rehabilitation project was also inaugurated.  In this barangay, the governor personally gave housing assistance to families who are currently living in dangerous areas.  At least 10 families were given housing materials costing P100,000 for each identified family.
