Marinduque launches survey to support local bike tourism

BOAC, Marinduque (PIA) -- The Provincial Government of Marinduque invites their local bikers to participate in a recently launched survey that would help yield data for the province’s continuing development on its bike tourism.

The survey’s primary aim is to come up with a general list of Marinduqueño bikers whether they are athletes, belonging to a group, or just biking for personal reasons. It also aims towards forming a provincial federation of bikers that will serve as representation of all varieties of bikers in the province.

The survey likewise aims at forming an officially recognized organization of bikers in the province to facilitate good relationships with the tourism department.

The provincial government, led by the Tourism Office, has already conducted a prior research to determine the possible bike trails in the island.
