NAVAL, Biliran (PIA) -- No less than Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief General Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar will lead the inauguration, blessing and turnover of the new Biliran Provincial Police Office (BPPO) on July 27.

The construction of the P24,150,080 worth new BPPO building is part of the Camp Development Plan for calendar year 2009.

It was funded through the DPWH Convergence Plan 2020 under the Build, Build, Build Program, a centerpiece program under the administration of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

The new BPPO building is the second provincial police office in Eastern Visayas that will be inaugurated, next to the Southern Leyte Provincial Police Office inaugurated in May this year.

The new BPPO building is located inside the BPPO compound in Barangay Larrazabal, Naval, Biliran. (LDL/RSV/PIA-8/Biliran)
