PASIG CITY, (PIA) -- The Department of Trade and Industry National Capital Regional Office and the City Government of Taguig recently awarded and distributed Carinderia Livelihood Kits.

Taguig City Representative Lani Cayetano, Ms. Ginger Cunanan of the National Housing Authority, DTI NCR Regional Director Marcy Alcantara, and Barangay Captain Perdito Bermas led the event and distribution of 'carinderia' (eatery) kits to the beneficiaries.

According to DTI NCRO, 35 beneficiaries received the carinderia kits under DTI’s Livelihood Seeding Program - Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB).

A kit is worth P8,000 and contains one sack or rice (50kg), rice cooker (25 cups), seven-piece knife set, melamine plates and soup bowls will be a big help to beneficiaries to recover amid the pandemic. (DTI NCRO/PIA-NCR)
