BARMM appoints 32 new permanent healthcare workers

COTABATO CITY (PIA)--The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), through its Ministry of Health (MOH) appointed 25 new nurses and 7 support staff members to boost its health response against COVID-19 in the region.

Last week, the 32 new permanent healthcare workers took their oath of office before MOH-BARMM Minister Dr. Bashary Latiph in a ceremony held at the MOH-BARMM regional office inside the Bangsamoro Government Center here.

During the ceremony, Latiph encouraged the newly hired healthcare workers to live up to being the modern day heroes in this time of health crisis.

Meanwhile, BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim told the new employees to uphold their oath of moral governance, and to reject graft and corruption.

Ebrahim also said that the regional government is forever committed in building better healthcare services for the Bangsamoro. (With reports from BIO-BARMM).
