Trece Martires, Cavite (PIA) – Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Police General Guillermo Eleazar recently paid his last command visit at the Cavite Police Provincial Office at Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia in Imus City on Thursday, November 4, 2021.
Gen. Eleazar is the 26th Chief of the PNP and is set to retire on November 13, 2021.
The Police Chief presented the medals for special awards to the well-deserving personnel of the Cavite PPO for their operational, and administrative accomplishments.
During his speech, the Police Chief recounted his memories of his assignment in Cavite as junior officer during the PC/INP days at this Camp sometime in 1989.
He congratulated and thanked all the awardees for their excellent job as he motivates all PNP personnel to be an inspiration to others.
General Eleazar also expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders, advocacy groups and the local chief executives, with the presence of Mayor Emmanuel Maliksi of Imus city for their continuous support to the PNP.
Before the event, he paid a courtesy call with Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla at the Cavite Provincial Capitol in Trece Martires City after his visit and routine inspections at the Kawit and Tanza Municipal Police Stations as part of the Intensified Cleanliness Policy to make sure that it is properly implemented in all levels.
The Intensified Cleanliness Policy Program (ICP), encompasses the three aspects: the Cleanliness in the Community, Cleanliness in the Office, and Cleanliness in Ranks.
According to Gen. Eleazar, this programs must be sustained to regain the confidence and trust of the public. (Ruel Francisco with reports from Cavite PPO)
