CALOOCAN CITY, (PIA) -- Newly-installed PNP Chief, Police General Dionardo B Carlos has designated two senior police officials to higher posts in the PNP Command Group and Directorial Staff, the first round reorganization in key positions ordered by the new PNP since he assumed the top PNP post on Friday.

Carlos designated Police Major General Rhodel O Sermonia as Acting Chief Directorial Staff, the 4th highest post in the Command Group previously held by Carlos. Sermonia vacated his previous post as The Director for Operations.

The Chief Directorial Staff supervises the eleven PNP Directorial Staff in administering functional operations of all National Support Units and Police Regional Offices.

Carlos designated Police Brigadier General Valeriano T De Leon as Acting Director for Operations, to fill the post vacated by Sermonia.
