DUMAGUETE CITY, Negros Oriental, Dec. 9 (PIA) -- The "Duterte Legacy: Barangayanihan Caravan Towards National Recovery" will be conducted in nine local government units (LGUs) in Negros Oriental from Dec. 13 to 17.
The caravan, spearheaded by the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), will showcase the notable achievements of the Duterte administration.
The LGUs that will participate in the caravan include Dumaguete City and Valencia town on Dec. 13; municipalities of Dauin and Zamboanguita on Dec. 14; Siaton and Bayawan City on Dec. 15; Bais City and Manjuyod on Dec. 16; and Pamplona on Dec. 17.
Various national agencies will offer basic government services dubbed "One-Stop Shop Serbisyo Caravan" for the residents to avail in the respective LGUs.
The agencies that have signified to join the caravan include the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Beneficiaries of various government programs are also expected to share their stories on how they benefitted from the projects and programs of the government that significantly changed their lives.
PCOO Sec. Martin Andanar is expected to present the legacy of good governance initiated by Pres. Rodrigo Duterte.
Meanwhile, PCOO Assistant Sec. for Global Media and Public Affairs Jusan Vincent Arcena will lead the official presentation of the Duterte Legacy. (JCT/PIA7 Negros Oriental)
