BUTUAN CITY -- Government agencies and instrumentalities unite for the virtual celebration of World AIDS Day 2021 from December 1 to 15, 2021, with the Philippine National AIDS Council (PNAC) leading the celebration.
This year’s theme "Ending the HIV Epidemic: Equitable Access, Everyone’s Voice” gives the people around the world an opportunity to unite in the fight against HIV.
In celebration of World AIDS Day 2021, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) encouraged all government agencies to promote public awareness, extend their full support to the activity, and show support for people living with and/or affected by HIV and to remember those who lost their lives to AIDS.
The Philippine Information Agency (PIA)-Caraga has expressed its support to promote the celebration through the following activities:
- Production and display of a banner that announces the theme of World AIDS Day 2021;
- Conduct of HIV-AIDS education session; and
- Following PNAC’s Facebook page (@pnacph) and sharing materials using hashtags #WADph2021, #HIVFREEPINAS, #HIVandHR2021. (MFC/PIA-Caraga)
