PASIG CITY, (PIA) -- National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief PMGen Vicente Danao assured that 24/7 operations will continue in the metropolis.

“Magsilbi sana itong inspirasyon upang ipagpatuloy natin ang ating magandang ginagawa. Serbisyong TAMA, may Tapang at Malasakit para sa Sambayanang Pilipino” said Danao.

The Metro Manila police force was hailed as the second highest performing Regional Police Office in crime solution efficiency at 82.62 percent (82.62%) from January to November of this year, which is up by 4.73 percent (4.73%) compared to the January to November 2020 data at 77.89 percent (77.89%).

Region 11 was ranked first on the same period in review, while Bangsamoro Autonomous Region was named as the third.

Likewise, NCRPO was recognized as the second Police Regional Office with increased crime clearance efficiency at 96.13 percent (96.13%) from January to November of this year, which is also up by 2.02 percent (2.02%) from the same period in 2021 at 94.12 percent (94.12%).  

Region 4B (MIMAROPA) was hailed as the number one while Cordillera was ranked third.

Meanwhile, the NCRPO also assured that crime situation remains manageable in Metro Manila.

The decrease in the number of crimes is attributed to the continuous conduct of Simultaneous Enhanced Managing of Police Operations (SEMPO) and the strict implementation of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
