KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato (PIA) -- The Department Health - Center for Health Development Soccsksargen Region (DOH-CHD XII)  has sent personnel to CARAGA Region where they will provide health and other services to the victims of super typhoon #OdettePH. 

Arjohn Gangoso, health education and promotion officer of DOH-CHD XII told Philippine Information Agency that the 31-person delegation is composed of doctors, nurses, and other health professional, and non-medical manpower. 

The DOH CHD XII Health Emergency Response Team  left Cotabato City Monday morning for Butuan City and will proceed to Dinagat Islands on Tuesday where they will provide services for the typhoon survivors. 

Gangoso said, they will be deployed to one of the municipalities of Dinagat Islands. 

For their 14-day mission to #OdettePH-affected areas, the team is divided into five clusters with specific services to provide, namely:  medical and nutrition; disease surveillance and response; water, sanitation, and hygiene; mental health and psychological support; and logistical support.
