QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- The Department of Foreign Affairs suspended operations of several Consular Offices (CO) in Metro Manila from January 10 to 20, 2022.
The decision to temporarily suspend its operation was due to the steep rise in COVID-19 cases among its personnel, according to the DFA advisoryn posted on their website.
No passport or Apostille applications will be processed or released until January 20, while those applicants with urgent or emergency concerns may coordinate with their assigned consular site regarding their concerns.
Moreover, affected applicants will be notified through email of their new schedule for personal appearance.
DFA requests for the public’s continued understanding and cooperation as it strives to deliver efficient and effective passport services to the public while ensuring the public’s safety and health. (DFA/PIA-NCR)
