CEBU CITY, Cebu, Jan. 20 (PIA) -- Gidayeg ni PCOO Secretary Martin Andanar ang kongreso og si Sen. Bong Go sa pagpahinayon pagtukod sa Visayas Media Hub karong tuiga.
Kini human ang proyekto malakip sa pagpundo sa tuig 2022 ubos sa programang “Build Build Build” sa nasudnong gobyerno, lima ka buwan sa dili pa mapupos ang termino ni Presidente Rodrigo Roa Duterte karong Hunyo 30, 2022.
Isip usa sa mga legasiya sa administrasyong Duterte alang sa pagmugna og epektibong komunikasyon ngadto sa katawhan, ang gobyerno migahin og 300 milyones ka pesos alang sa pagtukod sa maong Visayas Media Hub nga mahimutang sa Brgy. Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
Ang maong pondo nga gamiton sa pagtukod naggikan sa General Appropriations Act sa tuig 2022.
“It is with profound appreciation that we thank Congress, specifically Senator Bong Go who initiated such an action, for the inclusion of a P300-million budget for the construction of the Visayas Media Hub in the General Appropriations Act for the Fiscal Year 2022 (Among pagdayeg og pasalamat ngadto sa kongreso ilabi na kang Senador Bong Go nga maoy nangulo sa maong aksyon pag-apil sa 300 milyones nga budget ngadto sa General Appropriations Act nga maoy gamiton pagtukod sa Visayas Media Hub) ” matod ni Andanar.
Si Andanar miingon nga ang inisyatibo nga gipangulohan ni Sen. Bong Go, makonsiderar nga usa ka importanteng lihok pagpadayun sa tumong sa PCOO nga palambuon ang nasudnong operasyon sa government media.
“Our apparent success in constructing and operating the Mindanao Media Hub speaks for the incorruptible disposition of the PCOO in carrying out such an initiative (Ang atong dayag nga kalampusan paglihok og pagtukod sa Mindanao Media Hub nagpamatuod sa disposisyon sa PCOO pag tuman ani nga inisyatibo)” dugang sa hepe sa PCOO.

World class media hub
Ang PCOO proper mao ang mangulo sa pagdumala og pagmintinar sa labing unang media hub sa Visayas nga magsilbing pangunang sibyaan sa Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, og Western Visayas. Ang People’s Television Inc. (PTV) mao usab ang magsilbing locator sa nahisgutang proyekto.
Ang Visayas Media Hub maoy mousa sa mga ahensya nga lakip sa PCOO sama sa Philippine Broadcasting Service (PBS), Philippine Information Agency (PIA), Philippine News Agency (PNA), and Radio Television Malacañang (RTVM).
Gawas sa 300 milyones pesos nga pondo alang sa pagtukod sa media hub, lain usab nga 300 milyones pesos ang igahin nga gamiton alang sa broadcast equipment ug mga pasilidad sama sa 4-storey building, broadcast complex, duha ka TV studios and optional radio booths, automated master control system, transmitter ug satellite uplink system, TV broadcast IT system, news graphics system, digital transmitters, ug uban pa.
Ang pagtukod sa Media hub, dumalaan sa PCOO pinaagi sa abag sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) kinsa maoy mo andam sa detalyadong architectural og engineering nga disenyo samtang ang Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) maoy molihok alang sa paggamit sa Subangdako Wireless DICT lot – Innovation Hub Zone sa Mandaue City.
“As we have undertaken measures and actions in bringing tailored news and information and establishing direct connectivity with the people, the world-class Visayas Media Hub will be constructed in Mandaue, Cebu. It will be equipped with state-of-the-art broadcasting apparatus, similar to the Mindanao Media Hub, to further advance this endeavour (Sa atong pagbuhat sa mga lakang pagdala sa mga balita og impormasyon ug pagmugna og lig-ong koneksyon ngadto sa katawhan, atong itukod sa Mandaue City kining world-class Visayas Media Hub.
