CORTES, Bohol, Feb. 4 (PIA) -- Unrestricted travel to Bohol by vaccinated individuals who are fully protected against coronavirus disease (COVID-19) continues until Feb. 15.
In Executive Order No 7 series of 2022, Bohol Gov. Arthur Yap extended the efficacy of a previous order under Executive Order No. 4, series of 2022.
The said executive order ordered the implementation of the Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases Resolution No. 157-A series of 2022 which placed Bohol under Alert Level 3.
While the earlier executive order mandated the implementation of the IATF resolution in Bohol from Jan. 1-30, this new executive order orders the extension of the implementation of Alert Level 3 and its protocols from Feb. 1-15.
As this transpires, inter and intra zonal movement of people remain unhampered for fully vaccinated individuals who can show to authorities at the borders their vaccination cards or vaccination certificates.
For the partially vaccinated and the unvaccinated travelers, they are required to present a negative for COVID result in an assay by Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) taken 72 hours before boarding the vessel to Bohol.
The provision for minors 11 years old and below who are exempted from the RT-PCR if they are traveling with fully vaccinated parents or guardians also remains in effect especially when the requirement for the S-pass remains suspended and is no longer required for entry to Bohol.
Executive Order No. 7 which the governor signed on Jan. 31 which took effect on Feb. 1 also adopted and implemented the adjusted entry, testing, and quarantine protocols for international arriving Filipinos and foreign nationals. (RAHC/PIA7 Bohol)
