NAVAL, Biliran (PIA) -- The Biliran Fire Provincial Office on Wednesday conducted a provincial level poster making contest in line with the First BFP Community Relations Week with the theme, "Bumbero at Pamayanan, Magkasangga, Nagdadamayan" at BIPSU Student Center, this town.
The participants of the contest were highs chool and elementary students who won the municipal level poster making contest conducted by the seven municipal fire stations in the province.
The judges of the poster making contest were Gretchen Stephanie M. Espina, Reyrom Garrido, and Henry V. Dela Peña.
The criteria of the poster making contest are: creativity and presentation (20%), originality (20%), relevance to the theme (35%), and artist composition (25%).
The winning entry from the provincial level competition will be forwarded to the BFP Regional Office and will be posted on the BFP VIII Community Relations Page for the regional level contest, said SInsp. Zardos V. Abela, provincial director of BFP-Biliran Fire Provincial Office.
The regional level contest also encourages community participation thru an online voting system based on the FB likes and share for each entry from March 14 until midnight of March 29.
The contest is aimed at exploring the creativity of the minds and expressing the idea of the young and local artists in the province.
