LAOAG CITY, Mar. 29 (PIA) --  The Provincial Office of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Ilocos Norte will soon be built on a lot donated by the Local Government Unit of San Nicolas.

Senior Superintendent Rizza D. Simbajon, regional Director of BFP Region 1, and San Nicolas Mayor Alfredo P. Valdez Jr. recently led the signing of the Deed of Donation for the 479-square-meter lot that will be used for the construction of the BFP Ilocos Norte Provincial Office.

“We look forward to the promise that the BFP will always be protecting the folks of San Nicolas,” Valdez said.

Meanwhile, FMaj. Roxanne Parado, acting provincial fire director,  expressed her gratitude to the LGU San Nicolas.

 “This brings so much motivation, inspiration, and encouragement to the full force of BFP Ilocos Norte. This has boosted our morale to exert more in the field of service,” Parado said.
