PDEA, EAMC sign MOA on medical assistance, health services

PDEA Director General Undersecretary Wilkins M Villanueva and Dr. Alfonso G. Nuñez III, Officer-In-Charge, Medical Center Chief II, EAMC ink the agreement in a ceremony held on March 29, 2022 at the Medical Director's Board Room, EAMC, Quezon City.

CALOOCAN CITY, (PIA) --The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and East Avenue Medical Center (EAMC) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the extension of medical assistance, and timely and appropriate health services to PDEA personnel.  

Under the MOA, PDEA personnel can avail of medical treatment and health services, including emergency cases, hospitalization and diagnostic services, especially for PDEA agents who sustained injuries during actual performance of duties.

The signatories were PDEA Director General Undersecretary Wilkins M Villanueva and Dr. Alfonso G. Nuñez III, Officer-In-Charge, Medical Center Chief II, EAMC, who inked the agreement in a ceremony held on March 29, 2022 at the Medical Director's Board Room, EAMC, Quezon City.                                

Also, in attendance during the signing were Assistant Secretary Diosdado Carreon, PDEA Deputy Director General for Administration; PDEA Service Directors; and key EAMC Physicians. /(PDEA/PIA-NCR)
