QUEZON CITY, (PIA)-- Taguig City conducted a Livelihood Training for Women with Disabilities in celebration of the 18th Women with Disabilities Day with the theme “Kababaihan may Kapansanan sa New Normal Kapantay, Kaisa at Kasama sa Inklusibong Kaunlaran”.

The activity held at the City’s Disability Resource and Development Center on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 was attended by 150 participants.

The participants were taught to make dishwashing liquid, powder detergent, fabric conditioner, perfume and hand sanitizer which they can personally use or sell in the future as additional source of livelihood.

According to the city government, the acquired skills will give the trainees more livelihood opportunities that will allow them to thrive in the new normal. (PIA-NCR)
