PASIG CITY, (PIA) -- The Department of Health (DOH) warns the public of a fake social media card announcing the imposition of “general community quarantine (GCQ) with heightened restrictions from May 15 to 31, 2022 in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal.

According to DOH, the announcement is fake. The government no longer uses quarantine labels such as “GCQ” in favor of the Alert Level system.

The health department urges the public to always check its official channels on the internet and social media for the latest authentic updates. (DOH/PIA-NCR)
