KIDAPAWAN CITY, Cotabato Province (PIA) -- A total of 100 solo parents mostly from Barangay Poblacion here were exposed on Monday to social preparation, capability building, and formulation of association activities in line with the implementation of the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) which will benefit the solo parents.
The activity was headed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development, in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry.
Daisy Gaviola, city social welfare and development officer said the activity was conducted to enhance the skills and capabilities of the beneficiaries making them readily available and equipped to manage the livelihood projects provided them, mostly business starter kits.
