PASIG CITY, (PIA) -- Mandaluyong City local government unity has found a way to recycled campaign materials to functional bags.

Recently, Mandaluyong City Mayor Menchie Abalos received samples of eco bags, lunch box bags, shoulder bags, and aprons made from collected election campaign materials.

The recycling project, led by City Councilor Benjie Abalos - repurposed election campaign materials into functional bags and other products as an additional form of livelihood for residents especially during the pandemic.

Residents who are interested to learn from the program will undergo training at the Mandaluyong Manpower and Technical-Vocational Training Center. (Mandaluyong City/PIA-NCR)
