PASIG CITY, (PIA) -- In line with the inauguration of incoming President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos, Jr. on June 30, the National Museum of the Philippines announced that the National Museum of Anthropology and the National Museum of Natural History will be temporarily closed to the public starting Monday, June 27, 2022.

In an advisory, the National Museum said that the temporary closure of the two (2) museums is to ensure the safety of the public during the increased ingress activity around the National Museum Complex.

The museums will reopen on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.

The National Museum earlier closed the National Museum of Fine Arts located at the Old Legislative Building, Padre Burgos Drive in Manila. (National Museum/PIA-NCR)
