QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- Celebrate and be a part of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts’ (NCCA) ASEAN Month celebration by joining its digital art contest.
The ASEAN-Philippines Digital Art Contest 2022 (Year 3) is open to all Filipino citizens. This year's contest aims to promote ASEAN awareness by highlighting the cultural uniqueness and identity shared by ASEAN citizens.
This is amidst the ongoing global health crisis, climate change, rivalries between major powers, protectionism, territorial disputes, trade wars and technology rivalries, and other traditional and non-traditional security threats.
According to the NCCA, this is in line with Cambodia’s 2022 chairmanship theme.
Artist may submit their work ranging from, but not limited to:
- graphic poster;
- web comic;
- fractal/algorithmic art;
- data-moshing;
- dynamic painting;
- 2D/3D computer graphics;
- pixel art;
- digital photography;
- photo-painting;
- manual vector drawing;
- integrated art / mixed media and hybrid painting;
- raster painting; and
- computer-generated painting.
NCCA will choose 40 finalists from the National Capital Region, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
The prizes for this year are as follows:
First Prize will get a certificate + P50,000 cash prize
Second Prize will get a certificate + P30,000 cash prize
Third Prize will get a certificate + P20,000 cash prize
Consolation Prizes (5) will get a Certificate + P10,000 cash prize
