KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato (PIA) -- Newly-installed Tboli Mayor Keo Dayle Tuan appeals to fellow government employees to always wear a smile in serving clients.

“A simple smile helps lighten the mood of our constituents, especially when they have problems. A smile also gives sincerity to what you have pledged in bringing services to the people,” Tuan said in vernacular.

Mayor Tuan attended his first flag-raising ceremony as the new local chief executive on Monday, July 4, and urged all government employees to give fast, responsive, efficient, and effective service to the public.

He asked for cooperation in his first foray as a local chief executive to bring in better programs and services to residents of Tboli.

“I will call all department heads for a management conference to lay down a strategic plan for our significant plans, priority programs and activities for us to have a unified direction for the next three years,” Tuan said.

He also vowed to continue the peace and security efforts taken up by his father and predecessor, Dibu Tuan.

“Just like the previous administration, we will continue to provide sufficient support to the PNP, AFP and BFP to maintain order, peace, prosperity, and security of all the people of Tboli,” Tuan said.

In a previous statement, the official assured that LGU Tboli will continue to strengthen its anti-insurgency initiatives. “Violence, terrorism and criminality has no place here in our tribal municipality,” Tuan said. (PIA XII)
