QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- The Department of Health Metro Manila Center for Health Development recognized the Municipality of Pateros for its "outstanding performance" in the vaccination rollout against COVID-19.

DOH MMCHD Regional Director Dr. Gloria Balboa presented the certificate of recognition to Pateros Mayor Ike Ponce, Monday.

Mayor Ponce and the Municipal Government of Pateros were recognized for their outstanding performance and attainment of 100 percent (100%) Covid-19 vaccination coverage of the targeted eligible population towards a safe and protected National Capital Region.

The regional health office also cited the municipal government for accomplishing over 100 percent target vaccination rate for the nationwide implementation of the catch-up immunization program or the “Chikiting Bakunation.” (Isang Pateros/PIA-NCR)
