NPDC invites public on F2F lecture on benefits of outdoor play for children with disabilities

CALOOCAN CITY, (PIA)--The National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) is inviting the public to a face-to-face one-hour lecture on benefits of outdoor play for children with disabilities.

The activity is in line with the celebration of the 44th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week with the theme, "Working with Government in Achieving Equal Access to Education, Employment and Livelihood towards Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities".

The lecture is entitled, "Creating Sustainable Play Spaces for All: Inclusive Play and Play Areas" with guest speaker, Mr. John Ray Lucas, a pediatric occupational therapist specializing in early intervention, inclusive and social skills groups.

The event will be held on 19 July 2022 (Tuesday) at 10:00 AM at the Rizal Park Visitor's Center (RPVC) and is open to the first thirty (30) registrants.
