QUEZON CITY (PIA) --The Pasig River Coordinating and Management Office (PRCMO) and Star Bonifacio Matikas Eagles Club (SBMEC) officially launched the “Adopt Taguig-Pateros River” Program on Saturday, July 16, 2022, through a special clean-up activity at the Buting Linear Park, Barangay Buting, Pasig City.

PRCMO OIC Deputy Executive Director Dr. Lloyd C. Bautista, SBMEC President Alexander Andalis, and Brgy. Buting Chairwoman Evelyn G. Tuaño led the kick-off activities which included a walkthrough inspection along the riverside park and a sit-down meeting to discuss and finalize the arrangements of the partnership.

Among the initial agreements was to improve the condition of the 2-kilometer developed linear park through clean-up and clearing of obstructions, repainting and other beautification activities, and planting and greening initiatives which will ultimately benefit the community. (PRCMO/PIA-NCR)
