QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- The Philippine Army, through the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Command and Control Communications, and Cyber Systems (OG6, PA), recently showcased its capabilities in a demonstration at the Philippine Army Officers Clubhouse Pavilion, Fort Bonifacio, in Taguig.

Witnessed by Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., and other key Headquarters Philippine Army (HPA) general staff, the Army demonstrated its capabilities in Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Targeting Acquisition and Reconnaissance (C4ISTAR).
OG6, PA, in coordination with Israeli defense firm Elbit Systems, conducted the concept of integration demo of recently acquired PA C4ISTAR equipment which includes a new battle management system platform.

A simulation of a Tactical Operations Center using an array of recently acquired C4ISTAR equipment capped the activity. The center is envisioned to provide commanders with information crucial in crafting sound and timely tactical decisions.
The activity highlighted the Army’s efforts to invest on new capabilities that will transform the PA, into a Digital Army, with the ultimate end, to better serve the Filipino people and protect the land. (PA/PIA-NCR)
