QUEZON CITY (PIA) -- The Department of Health (DOH) and Philippine Coalition Against Tuberculosis (PhilCAT) invites professionals to join the PhilCAT Annual Convention Webinar Series, “Universal Health Care: Integrating TB Services Across the Life Stages,” on Wednesday, August 3, from 2-4 p.m., via Zoom.

This event coincides with the celebration of National Lung Month in August. The observance reminds individuals to take time to think about how important it is to take care of the lungs. And one way to protect it from dangerous carcinogens in the air is to wear a face mask if staying in an environment with high amounts of dust or chemical fumes.

The webinar series will be conducted in all Wednesdays of August starting August 3. The keynote speaker for session 1 is DOH Officer in Charge Dr. Maria Rosario S. Vergeire.

Aside from learning, participants will have the chance to earn CME / CPD Units.
