KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato (PIA) -- The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) here continues the upskilling of their personnel to improve competencies to better serve their clientele.
PDEA 12, in partnership with the Philippine Information Agency on Thursday trained some 30 agents, as well as admin personnel from different provincial offices on technical writing and mobile photography.
According to PDEA 12 regional director Naravy Duquiatan, the activity aims to equip employees with new skills to improve their documentation of official activities and outputs.
“In our job, we need muscle. We need to climb mountains. We have to kick doors but we also need brains to express ourselves, to put our ideas into words,” she said.
The participants were given tips on mobile photography and social media management as well as inputs in writing technical documents such as memos and post-activity reports.
With this training, Duquiatan said PDEA programs and services can be relayed to their clientele in a simple manner that is understandable to them. “Our goal is to clearly and effectively explain something so that the end user can easily understand,” Duquiatan said. (PIA XII)
