KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato (PIA) -- Residents of Tboli are up for improved programs and services from the local government, as their officials formally started the planning phase for the formulation of the town’s Executive-Legislative Agenda (ELA).
Councilor Kirk Tuan, on behalf of Mayor Keo Dayle Tuan led the pre-ELA meeting on Monday to gather suggestions and ideas from local officials and department heads ahead of their scheduled ELA workshop on August 18-20.
The activity was also set to orient and discuss the processes on filling-up required forms.
In a previous statement, Mayor Keo Tuan vowed to bring better services for his constituents in his first foray as local chief executive.
“We will lay down a strategic plan for our significant plans, priority programs and activities for us to have a unified direction for the next three years,” Tuan said.
The crafting of ELA is pursuant to Section 106 of the Local Government Code of 1991 mandating each local government unit to prepare a comprehensive multi-sectoral development plan to be initiated by its local development council which will then be presented to its Sanggunian for approval. (PIA XII)
