DepEd to set up command center on the opening of classes

QUEZON CITY, (PIA) --
The Department of Education announced Thursday, August 04, that they will launch a command center to handle concerns that may arise on the day of opening of face-to-face classes on August 22, 2022.

As part of the preparation, DepEd Spokesperson Atty. Michael Poa said their staff is already undergoing training on how to address concerns and queries.

We’re also setting up a command center here at the Department of Education para po pwede niyo kaming tawagan kaagad, our staff is already undergoing training at the moment for encoding and ticketing of all these concerns,” he said. 

When asked the general status of the department’s preparation, Poa said that it is without challenge but they are confident.

We’re getting there, we are very confident, pagdating po ng opening of classes, handa na po tayo,” Poa answered.

Poa encouraged parents of students who will participate in F2F classes, to have their eligible children vaccinated as a protection against COVID-19. (PIA-NCR)
