QUEZON CITY (PIA) -- Environmental Management Bureau – National Capital Region and Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) continued the discussion on MWSS’ Concessionaire’s Roadmap to full coverage on sewerage systems on 08 August at EMB-NCR’s Conference Room.
The meeting was presided by Regional Director Atty. Michael Drake P. Matias and was participated by MWSS, Maynilad Water Services Inc., Manila Water Company Inc., and officials of four Metropolitan Environmental Offices – North, South, East, and West office.
Attendees prepared and presented the necessary agenda items within their scope and discussed the concerns arising, and planned to move forward with the full coverage of sewerage systems within the region.
The said meeting aligns with the continuous implementation of the Republic Act No. 9275 or the Philippine Clean Water Act of 2004. This also supports the ongoing Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program. (PIA-NCR)
