QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- The Department of Trade and Industry through its Bureau of Domestic Trade Promotion (BDTP) set to hold 12-day event that will showcase best products of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
In partnership with Fisher Mall in Quezon City, the DTI BDTP is mounting a Bagsakan event on August 20 to 31 at the Event Center, Upper Ground Floor of the mall. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with DTI officials and the Fisher Mall management is also scheduled on August 22, 11 a.m. at the venue.
Best products of 37 MSMEs from Pangasinan, Bataan, Laguna, Cavite, Quezon, Rizal, Sorsogon, Cebu, Samar, Zamboanga City, Davao Del Sur and the NCR will be showcased at the event.
Consumers, traders, distributors, resellers and institutional buyers from the North NCR and nearby provinces can enjoy great selection of authentic Filipino delicacies, seafood products, processed and frozen meat products, fresh fruits and vegetables, pastries, snacks, healthy beverages, fruit wines, coconut-based products, varieties of Philippine coffee, health and wellness products, home décor and furnishings, fashion accessories, gift and souvenir items, and more.
The DTI said they have also established a partnership with a farm-to-table e-commerce platform Mayani.ph, so that buyers and consumers can also purchase high volume of fresh produce from the Cagayan Valley region.
Bundles of fresh fruits, vegetables, and root crops by smallholders farmers, fruit growers and social cooperatives will be on sale. Pre-orders will be accepted soon at www.mayani.ph/gb.
