BORONGAN CITY (PIA) -- Some 13 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in Oras received free eye check-ups and free eyeglasses in an activity dubbed 'FEnalamrag nga Bisyon' at the Libanan Gym and Civic Center, on September 1, 2022.

The service, made possible through the effort of the Local Government Unit of Oras and its Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, conducted free computerized eye checkups and gave out free double vision eyeglasses to the PWDs in the municipality.

Lita Libanan, a PWD leader expressed her gratitude to the LGU-Oras for its constant support to the PWDs in Oras.

“This kind of program shows that the government cares for the PWDs. Thank you so much for this program under, of course, the administration of our Mayor, Mano Roy Ador.”

This program was conceptualized after a PWD Meeting held last month.

In the said meeting, Mayor Roy Ador promised to deliver free eyeglasses as requested by the PWDs.
