VIRAC, Catanduanes (PIA)- Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Cabugao School of Handicraft and Cottage Industries (CSHCI) conducted free skills training for thirty (30) Alternative Learning System (ALS) Learners of Barangay Maibini, Panganiban, Catanduanes.
Held on September 21-23, 2022, the activity focused on teaching the participants about the ‘basics’ of baking to help them in starting up livelihood from the acquired skills.
In his message, TESDA-CSHCI Administrator Elpidio Tuboro said that their office was always available to provide whatever is needed in terms of skills training to help ALS learners emphasizing their support to all programs of partner agencies.
Meanhwile, 25 residents of Brgy. San Roque, Bato also received free livelihood training from TESDA particularly on making different kinds of chips.
TESDA also conducted free 15-Hour Theoretical Driving Course for students of Catanduanes State University.(PIA5/Catanduanes)
