QUEZON CITY (PIA) -- The province of Abra experienced a magnitude 6.4 tectonic eathquake with epicenter at Lagayan on October 25, 2022, 10:59pm.

Intensity II - Labrador, Pangasinan; San Manuel, Isabela
Meanwhile, advisory of no tsunami threat to the Philippines from this earthquake has been issued. However, earthquake of this intensity may generate a sea level disturbance that may be observed along coasts near quake epicenter of Abra province.
The local disaster risk reduction management councils are conducting inspection and damage assessment in the affected areas.
