RIZAL (PIA) -- Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 3 was raised over 10 areas on Saturday afternoon as Severe Tropical Storm (STS) 'Paeng' (international name: Nalgae) maintained its strength while moving over San Pablo City, Laguna.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the center of typhoon 'Paeng' was estimated in the vicinity of San Pablo City, Laguna. It has a maximum sustained winds of 95 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gusts of up to 160 kph.
In its 5:00 p.m. bulletin, the state weather bureau raised TCWS No. 3 on the following areas:
