Signal No. 3 up in Metro Manila, 10 other areas as 'Paeng' moves across Marinduque

RIZAL (PIA) -- The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has raised the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 3 in Metro Manila and 10 other areas due to Severe Tropical Storm (STS) 'Paeng'.

According to PAGASA, STS 'Paeng' maintained its strength while moving across the northern portion of Marinduque. Its center was estimated in the vicinity of Mogpog, Marinduque and has a maximum sustained winds of 95 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 130 kph.

In its 11:00 a.m. bulletin, the state weather bureau raised TCWS No. 3 on the following areas:

Metro Manila
Marinduque
Northern and central portions of Quezon (Pitogo, San Andres, Buenavista, Lucena City, San Francisco, Pagbilao, Infanta, Tiaong, Lopez, Catanauan, Mulanay, Unisan, General Luna, Plaridel, Quezon, San Antonio, Alabat, Candelaria, Lucban, Sampaloc, Padre Burgos, Sariaya, City of Tayabas, Macalelon, Mauban, Dolores, General Nakar, Perez, Agdangan, Gumaca, Atimonan, Real, San Narciso, Guinayangan, Calauag) including Pollilo Islands
Laguna
Batangas
Cavite
Rizal
Bataan
Southern portion of Zambales (Olongapo City, Subic, Castillejos, San Antonio)
Lubang Islands
