QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- A total of 42 participants composed of footwear, bags and leather manufacturers are participating in this year’s Marikina Christmas Shoe Bazaar #PaskongSapatosSaMarikina showcasing quality and affordable shoes, bags, belts, and other products made by Marikina's skilled craftsmen.

The city government of Marikina officially sponsored thE Christmas Shoe Bazaar to help the local shoe industry recover from the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

Marikina City Mayor Marcelino “Marcy” Teodoro led the opening of the bazaar, which will run from November 14, 2022 until January 14, 2023 at the Freedom Park, right in front of the city hall.

Bazaar is open daily from Monday to Sunday at 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. (pia-ncr)
