Soldiers, civilians enjoy Kadiwa ng Pasko at Camp Aguinaldo

CALOOCAN CITY, (PIA) -- Soldiers, civilian employees, dependents, and other authorized civilians and visitors enjoy the Kadiwa sa Pasko in Camp Aguinaldo.

On Wednesday, Nov. 16, the Armed Forces of the Philippines joined the nationwide launching of the Kadiwa ng Pasko at the Wellness Center inside Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City.

Kadiwa ng Pasko project is an initiative of the national government led by the Department of Agriculture aimed at providing a market to the country’s local agricultural producers while at the same time giving the public access to affordable and high-quality products during this yuletide season.

The project provides farmers and producers with opportunities to directly sell their products to consumers, eliminating marketing layers and allowing the selling of goods at a more affordable price.

Among the invited merchants are the Damwag Farmers Association, Inc., and Batangas Egg Producers Cooperative.

USec Emerald Ridao of the Office of the Press Secretary, Col Paul Anthony Guerrero, acting commander of the AFP General Headquarters and Headquarters Service Command, and other senior officers led the launching ceremony. (afp/pia-ncr)
