QUEZON CITY (PIA) -- As Christmas draws near and to spread love and joy to fellow Filipinos, the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) will conduct a donation drive in Manila Boystown Complex, Parang, Marikina.

The beneficiary of the said drive will be the two (2) homes from Manila Boystown, which include the Home for the Aged and Kids’ Home.

According to the Special Events Committee, headed by Deputy Director General Katherine S. De Castro, through the Agency’s Human Resource Development Division (HRDD), PIA will provide sanitation and hygienic supplies; food and medicine; clothing; and cleaning materials to 378 elders from Home for the Aged.

Meanwhile, personal hygiene supplies; powdered milk for 2-9 years old; food and medicines; kitchen supplies; and school supplies among others will be given to 27 children from the Kids’ Home.

The said cause is expected to be delivered on December 15. (EEDC/PIA-CPSD)
