QUEZON CITY, (PIA)—The City Government of Makati has been recognized by the Department of Health (DOH) because of its excellent accomplishment in the conduct vaccination campaign for children.

Mayor Abby Binay received a Certificate of Recognition from the DOH for Makati's outstanding performance in the Vax-Baby-Vax Campaign at Makati City Hall.

The city achieved 103.06% vaccination coverage for the Routine Catch-up Immunization Activity held from November 7 to 18, 2022. 

Makati also received a plaque of appreciation from DOH for its significant contribution to strengthening key health reforms in the city-wide health system towards achieving Universal Health Care in Metro Manila. (pia-ncr)
